Antique Train (Soller Railway), Palma, Majorca
Catch the train and journey back in time in one of the original wooden carriages, your 17 mile train ride will take you through the scenic Spanish countryside between Palma de Mallorca and Soller. The train was originally steam driven but is now electified.
Botanic gardens
These beautiful gardens encorporate many exotic plants, flaura and fauna. Located on the slopes of the hill Montjuďc you can also enjoy magnifiscent views of the sea and the harbour.
Barranco de Guayadeque, Grand Canaria
This wonderful reserve has many huge caverns, some of which can be visited. One in particular is home to a 100 seat restaurant where eating, drinking and dancing go on all day. This is also a place of great natural beauty, with flora of great impotance.

Castle Montjuďc
Located atop of Montjuďchill sita an big 18th century castle. Strategically positioned to offer aview of thecity and harbour. The original castle dates from 1640, but was destroyed and rebuild. During the civil war (1936-1939) the castle was a very important part of the citys defensce. Following this the castle was used as a prison.

El Chorro gorge, Costa del Sol, Andalusia
El Chorro is picturesque, with its streams and thick forest it is a truly beautiful place. During the summer months the lakes are very popular with many visitors taking a dip or trying their hand with a fishing line. These artificial lakes created by a dam built across the gorge are known as Garganta del Chorro. A dramatic limestone gorge!
Girona, Costa Brava, Catalonia
This city is packed with features and attractions too many to mention. When you visit you will amazed at the rich architectural heritage. The city's history dates back to Roman times, with the streets being medieval in style. The food in Girona is amazing with great shops and cafes.
La Boqueria
This is a typical ols style Spanish market. One of the oldest covered market places in Ramblas were there is fresh fruit, fish and meat on stalls daily. These markets are aplenty throughout Spain and are highly popular with locals and tourists alike.
Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba, Andalusia
This historic beauty is known by many as the jewel of Cordoba. The building and its intricate designs offer a taste of the grandeur of the time. The cathedral is ornate and colourful throughout.
Picasso Museum (Museu Picasso)
This museum is dedicated to the work of the well known painter Pablo Picasso. If you like the works of Picasso, you will love this huge collection of his works including many paintings, engavings, lithographs and ceramics. The Picasso Museum occupies five medieval palaces: Aguilar, Baró de Castellet, Meca, Casa Mauri, and Palau Finestres.

Placa Catalunya
This is the most famous square of Barcelona and maybe the largest too! The square marks the end of the medieval city and the entrance to the modern neighbourhood beyond. The square also features a statue of the last president of the Cataluńa before the civil (1936-1939), who was shot at the square by Franco´s men.

This national park is a must for would be astronomers and seasoned stare gazers everywhere.

Sacromonte, Granada, Andalusia
Sacromonte is a large hill, made up of a mixture of pebbles and clay, the original dwellers (gypsys) found that they could easily construct cave like dwellings, and this is where they made their homes. Caves are now used to entertain tourists with flamenco dancing performances.

Santa Barbara Castle
This castle sits atop Mount Benacantil and boasts the most beautiful of views. The castle is of great historic importance with its 3 sections dating from the 14th, 16th and 18th centuries, the original foundations date back to the 11th century.

St. Michael's Cave, Gibraltar
A must see for any visitor to Spain. The cathedral cave has many long and winding chambers, leading deep underground. Passages run deep underground and legend told that passages were so long that you could reach Africa.

Aquario Vasco da Gama
The Vasco da Gama Aquarium is a scientific and educational institution, located in Lisbon. The Vasco da Gama Aquarium is divided into two areas, the Museum and the Aquarium, complementing each other and enabling the visitor to receive an enlarged view of the Aquatic World. The Vasco da Gama Aquarium exhibits more than 200 species and 4000 specimens.

Estación de Cártama

A wonderful place for the young and young at heart. Enjoy carousels, race cars and the big top. Walk the park eating candy floss or jump on the tram for the horror house. So enjoy dinner at the restaurant then view the park from the sky in the seat of a ferris wheel.

Tagus Boat Trip
Enjoy a river cruise, see the views from the tranquil waters, from here the city acquires a different perspective. The boat trip is carried out in a traditional boat that used to carry the inhabitants across the river mouth. Its slow pace and open deck allow passengers to enjoy the sun and the sea breeze from the deck.

Las Ramblas
This famous boulevard and town centre, is the original old medieval city centre. It is crowded with quaint shops selling flowers, bird stands, souvenir stands, musicians and street artists. In the evening it is the place to parade yourself and be seen!

This wonderful zoo (Zoologico de Lisboa) is home to more than 2000 animals, with new species being homed every year. In teh center of the zoo is a large tank, representing the Ocean, (4 coastal habitat tanks recreate, the North Atlantic, the Antarctic Coast, a temperate coastline in the Pacific with its forests of giant kelp, and the Tropical Indian Ocean with its coral reefs). The Animax fun park within the zoo is lush and green, offering remote boats and a 3D cinema.

This amazing marine zoo is home to the most wonderful dolphin, seal and sea lion shows. The park itself offers many things from animal actors, tropical tanks and birds. Childrens play areas will allow you to take a break for 5 minutes before you are off again to see the sharks and parrots!

Octopus Aquapark
Visit this exciting waterpark and you're sure to make a splash. Roar around rapids or enjoy an hour on the lazy river, then drip dry in the sun and pop down to the cafe for a tasty snack.

This beautiful square is located just off the Ramblas, and consists of a fountain, palm trees and many bars and clubs. In the evening and night it is the centre of all nightlife.
Planetario Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon, Estremadura
This Observatory/planetarium is the perfect place to watch the stars. If you have not quite mastered your portugese yet you can take advantage of headphones that offer an english translation.
Safari de Madrid
As long as you have a hire car its full steam ahead! Drive through the park see ostriches, giraffes, zebus, bucks, zebras, bears, rhinoceroses and monkeys up close and personal. These animals will roam free as you take photos to your hearts content.
Tibidabo Funfair, Barcelona, Catalonia
Right at the top of a Spanish mountian you will find this theme park. So, if you don't have a stomach for heights its not for you. The park has bumper cars, Ferris wheel, as well as the infamous house of horrors, Hotel Krueger
Tivoli World
Tivoli World theme park is located in Arroyo de la Miel which is part of Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol. The park is designed for adults as well as children and has rides, gardens, fountains and walkways.
