of sunkissed coastline and a mix of old and new. Take a pleasant
stroll around the city, walk down narrow cobbled streets...home

streets, bustling with life and culture.
Once a farmstead,
beneath the Moorish castle of Fadrell, Castellon was
conquered in 1233 by James I. As years went on the city grew and
with it the defences. Castellon was surrounded by a moat, walls
were built along with huge towers, and a church was planned for
the dwellers within. The city continued to expand and eventually
the people had to tear down the wall to make room for new homes.
In the 19th century, as the city started to grow again hospitals
and theatres were erected and modernisation of the city began.

century, the cathedral was almost totally destroyed by fire. In
the 1900's reconstruction started and the cathedral once again looks
