A visit to the Alcazaba museum is a must and the castles are
amazing. Surrounded by greenery, at the Gibralfaro you can
stroll the ramparts and enjoy the view and gardens. The Alcazaba
has been declared a state monument..as it has a great historical
past. Construction started in 1057 by Badis el Ziri, a taifa
ruler and afterwards the malaguenian fortress of Bobastro
was built on the hillside of the Gibralfaro mountain.
