To the South
you will find mountains and to the North the new Castile....Albacete
is an inland province of south-eastern Spain, north
Mercia.Earliest known references to Albacete can be found
in Muslim writings dating from 744AD
One of the most
famous attractions here is the Fair of Albacete. This major holiday
is celebrated from the 7th to 17th of September, dating back to
the 14th century and originating from a lively cattle fair, the
holday is now in honour of the virgin of Los Llanos, the patron
saint of Albacete. Due to the huge amount of interest from the Spanish
and tourists alike the above has now been declared a national holiday
of interest! Back in 1783 a fairground was built to complement the
festival and today the celebrations are grand with music, dancing
and festive activities.

If you are looking
